Didn't you know bombers and fighters were super weapons in WWI, unlike artillery which was extremely expensive and basically useless!

There are a ton of things I love about the game. And I appreciate them trying to recreate history. But god I wish they would give me some options to balance out of the playability. Everytime I create a gap in the line I push troops forward to find fresh divisions in prepared trenches waiting to blow...

I started the game back up after the crash and did nothing else and it ran fine through 10-15 turns. Strange indeed.

Just played through 4 more turns and then it crashed again. No upgrading troop this time.

I just restarted my computer and tried again. I don't know what changed but suddenly the turn worked. I will let you know if I need any more help. Thanks for the fast response time!

Well I just tried a third game and again when I get to a point where I try to upgrade units (all Entente infantry units) and again it froze on me. I just upgraded my video drivers and sound drivers and did all the things suggested in this forum, but no dice.

So started a new game with all your suggestions got to turn 12 and everything was fine. Tried to upgrade my units and when I clicked end turn I CTD again.

d_m.ai I think was the file I replaced.

All files successfully validated. Will the new d_ai file that was posted for the MP crashes a while ago have an effect? If so could you post the original file for me to put in. I will start a new game after you reply and then get back to you.

I am using the steam version. I have also added the "d_ai" file earlier. Will this cause issues with the patch? I stupidly forgot to backup the original as well. I am still having the same issue with the game crashing when I click end turn on my old save file. Do I have to start a new game...

This has happened in two games in a row. As soon as I click the end turn button the game crashes to desktop.
