Re: Will not load trait page or carry over
Did you read what I wrote? "If you go straight to the new campaign from the finished campaign then it does not work for some reason". So, don't do that. Just start the next campaign manually as 'new', and you get asked if you want to continue on from the previous campaign just finished. Th...

Re: Will not load trait page or carry over
Start a new campaign, choose the next one, and the game will ask if you want to continue from the previous campaign. You get your old units, prestige and heroes. And then you can also choose a new set of traits. If you go straight to the new campaign from the finished campaign then it does not work ...

Re: What capacity are Airfields and Dirt airfields?
Dirt airfields can take 5 planes and cannot support strat bombers, full airfields can and have a capacity of 7. Rebasing can bridge a distance of at most 2x the range of the plane. Rain/snow prevents rebasing of course. There exists a 'fast rebase' hero trait, in which a rebase leaves the move actio...

No activity here. It seems partial-turn saves are working again for now.

Panzer Corps 2 Day 2025 Tournament, mid-turn save?
If I leave after moving, but before ending my turn, coming back I have to do them again. Seems a bug, and might allow something like an undo? Looking out where the opponent is, en then take advantage?
First time I do PvP so I may overlook something obvious.

Re: Elite: 1st Guards - Historical Accuracy Challange
You could add auxiliary force (compensate with e.g. the innocuous fear of the unknown) to recruit a suitable amount of (extra) air units. That would give extra room for historical units, instead of AA veteran which seems rather artificial.

Re: Elite: 1st Guards - Historical Accuracy Challange
Nice writeup, but how can you field so many units? I count about 90 core slots, and the scenario gives only 82 (which is actually already a lot of units).
/edit: I see you got Infantry General & Panzer General infantry traits, so that would explain.

Re: Recon planes question
You can check it with the 'L'-shortcut, but if I remember correctly, the recon unit must cover the location from where the attack takes place. Just like when you would be attacking the enemy instead of the other way around. Maybe a bit inconsistent, as combat takes place at the hex of your own unit....

Re: Recon planes question
Accuracy boost is (strength)*(10 + 3*[experience level stars]) percent. So with strength 4, the boost is a lot less.
Combat preview ('L' shortcut when the prediction is visible, or afterward) has the calculations.

Re: Panzer Corps 2: Elite - 1st Guards | Out Now
Wonderfull! Trying it out now. Seems suitable for denied artillery, 3 core artillery units to start with (I like my trait options). Understrength aux unit strength is not red initially, but when you reload later, it is rightly displayed in red. Also, there are several (core) units that can/should be...

My wishlist starts with the following three items: 1) Cut the graphics bloat (and/or the very inefficient engine) so that PC3 runs more like PC1 and does not waste so much performance that older computers cannot run it without fan noise and noticeably adding to your electricity bill. 2) as 1 3) as 1...

Re: Tactical puzzles
The puzzle works for me. But the exact damage dealt is not quite the same as in the video. My recon deals only one damage to the enemy artillery, my engineers do 6 on the 1st Inf, and after that, my infantry also does 6 (1st Inf is now weaker, so it does less damage before my attack), So the thresho...

Re: To attack or not attack?
Sometimes it is better not to attack because of the target retreating to a safer location. But here the enemy reconnaissance vehicle can do that anyway, moving and then repairing the same turn. Even if you don't attack. It seems likely that you can kill it outright anyway. But it could be that your ...

Re: To attack or not attack?
The tank will retreat to the river hex, where it is extra vulnerable. Or maybe the forest hex. If you want to kill it, you could attack with your tank, and then (if necessary) pursue the unit with your infantry to finish the job (if the tank is too strong defensively, that may not work). If you want...

Re: Map edge supply
If you extend the map to the right, you see that the supply from the right/east direction is not blocked.
Actually, I thought earlier that even the situation where the enemy unit is 1/2 hex more inward of the map, encirclement did not work, but you illustrated with a screenshot that it did.

Re: Map edge supply
The current edge supply system is highly unrealistic, for example the topmost car is sitting happily in an edge hex and can't be surrounded to cut off his supply, so every turn he'll simply get a big bunch of replacements and be as freah as a daisy- https://i.ibb.co/MDkqNZ4S/top-car-supplied.jpg If...

Re: Why is my strategic bomber getting shot down by an Italian recon jeep with a 50 cal?
1. the bomber is not killed, it loses 1 strength point of 10. 2. as a strategic bomber it is not very effective against a scouting unit, not too surprising. 3. the bomber has no experience and the target had both some experience and a 20% play-level bonus. The AW Whitley also has fairly weak ground ...

Re: Recon planes question
Benefit of recon planes in defense is limited, but: 1) parking a recon plane over your unit obviously prevents enemy air units from bombing it 2) parking a recon plane above te attacking unit (on the hex from where the attack will actually happen) provides the 10% bonus to the defending counterattac...

Re: Replacement points advice needed
The way combat works out in PC2 can be counter-intuitive (and hard to understand). But there is a 'L' shortcut key that shows a preview of the expected combat outcome. For enemy units attacking, their unit needs to move to get the preview (for some unknown reason). So, save the game, look at the 'L'...
