While very excited about GBR, I am trying to control my enthusiasm because the game will be ported to consoles.

Not to worry.

If the interface is similar to Legion Arena, and I'm willing to bet it is, I don't see much problem porting it to a console.

But there are other miniatures company's that do women warriors of all kinds, especially fantasy and pulp fiction. I believe there is even a women's wargaming site, where they review PC ...

It's really hard to comment when one has so little information on the mechanics of the game.

I would, however, trust in your ability as a game designer to strike a good balance.

Thanks for the feedback Hovensdog. What we're interested in is does this justify the use of 2 types of armoured corps - Heavy & Light/Medium? Were some corps equipped with heavier tanks than others or were all armoured corps roughly the same with a mix of light, medium & heavy tanks?

Since you asked for thoughts... I will fell free to comment.

Personally, at this scale, with one corps per hex, what I would like to see is the division of units into combat and support.

Combat units are your normal corps: infantry, mech ...

Please re-name the unit "icons" to unit "counters".

Please ensure the counter artwork is 2D.

If the coumter artwork resembles Gary Grisby's World at War or resembles Strategic Command 2 that would kill it for me.

Hopefully, gameplay will be the most important feature of the game.

Great stuff, will be watching with a lot of interest on this game.

I like the "manpower" feature, however, remember many "conquered" countries also provided limited manpower to the German warmachine, as did "neutrals" such as Spain which provided a division.

Another very historical way ...
