Re: Helpful (I hope) advice concering "The Russian Campaign"

I think you can find them here. If you are looking for something shorter (ie any other scenario in existence) I highly recommend his Race to Bastogne https://forum.slitherine.com/viewtopic.php?p=821524&hilit=parriego#p821524 Also highly recommend Erik's scenarios, esp 2v2 Market-Garden and 2v2 B...

Re: Just some thoughts

Think I first complained about "truck abuse" last summer and it is particularly egregious/unrealistic when combined with towed ordnance which can be (un)loaded and fired in the same turn. In PvP this pretty much destroys the value of self-propelled artillery as you can just tow the artille...

Re: Bug (graphic) while playing last Tournament Match as the British

Hey Pupski. I too am having that issue but am able to work around by going by what the floating action icon is when I hover over a tile. I think just leap-of-fait and click to move which seems to work. Once the unit has moved about ten tiles toward the center the normal grid reappears.

I cannot recommend highly enough Erik's 4-player Market-Garden and Battle of the Bulge scenarios.

Re: Love the game but just want to make 3 simple suggestions

Hello, I'm enjoying the game a lot and see a ton of potential, especially for multiplayer. I also play both Panzer Corps 2 and Order of Battle WW2, and based on my experience with those games, I think this game could use a couple minor additions to really make it shine. These are all directed at sk...

Re: 2025 Roadmap for Headquarters: World War II

lol...as someone who only plays multi-player I feel like the game mostly lives on campaign and skirmish :-) A bit of a shame to not see any more major campaigns this year aside from Ardennes. I liked the single player campaigns in this game, so I was secretly hoping for a few more in 2025, yet it se...

Re: Dev log #4 - The USA campaign in the Ardennes DLC

As always the visuals are amazing and to me are near art-level quality.

Also curious as to whether anyone else is disappointed that there are no scenarios where the US has to defend against the German onslaught (esp Bastogne)

Re: Sorry to be that guy but I'm gonna be that guy...

Indeed many of the whiners seem oblivious to the risks of not just working in a warzone, but what must be a difficult process determining how to best defend Ukraine's democracy. That Starni is able to do anything at all is a minor miracle IMO...

Re: Dev log #2 - New units in the Ardennes DLC

Thanks for the update Oleg! I am particularly happy to see the Wirbelwind AA platform but also the Pz 42 rocket-launcher. I had mixed feelings about the US M5 AT gun, not because of any historical consideration, but because AT guns--and all towed ordnance--are given a Camofluage of 2 which makes the...

Re: Congratulations!

Also want to say congratulations to S1av9N for a well-played match. I have played him(?) several times and they are always very tough games so am not surprised at the excellent finish. I also echo the concerns about the importance of flags in the tournament scenarios (which I have also posted to the...

Re: Where's the smoke?

I think all armored cars and the Jeep have some sort of smoke capability. You are absolutely correct re mortars, at least those >80mm and so of course artillery should also have smoke. If combat engineers ever debut they should also have smoke. As for the broader issue of improvements to game design...

Re: AT guns disassembly

Alas dozens of game design improvements have been suggested since release but none have been implemented. I asked about this the other day and was told only that "an update was coming" I think this is largely due to the drive to get another DLC out but also because of all the whining from ...

Re: Headquarters World War II - Market Garden

I am being asked to update everytime I start the game on Steam and am worried this could limit my ability to get my tournament moves done in a timely manner. Could I get a serial for the standalone version of the base game? (I already have one for Market-Garden)
