I've noticed that it only works... sometimes. I don't know if that's a dice thing or what, but it clearly doesn't do it every time.

Yeah... my assumption is that the maps are generated every time you enter a skirmish in case you run into a map that's just awful. Pool changes as well... probably by design. Sure, you can kinda game the system, but it prevents an obstructed or impossible map scenario, etc..

I run the game in windowed mode and you are correct that this issue didn't occur in .0 RTM. I'll collect the dxdiag after the next crash, oops. Just a side note... I've had the same GUI issues (missing elements/dark) with the .1 release from steam on occasion. I haven't installed the .2 patch. This doesn't end with a crash, but I do need to close the game and restart completely. Edit: To be 100% clear... if I pause during the game by hittin...

Hey D, Thanks for helping. I was hoping you could clarify your thoughts on 1 and 2. You mention that after a unit dies, the exp bar will fill up completely and then stay that way... then you mention a unit that died gaining a level. I think you're saying that the unit that died/lvl'd had both happen...

You really tore into the poor guy. How about this. I have a Bloodclaw that's bugged and gives me unlimited attacks. Even then... even with unlimited attacks... I've been 6 or 7 attacks in and I'm still just trying to get the shine off Ork armor... I remember that one... got killed with counter attac...

Same here... think I'm going to put this game on a shelf for now. I just can't seem to figure out what works on this mission and I've wasted hours. I'm not saying that I don't enjoy a challenge and/or learning. It's just not fun.
