Dithyrambos, I met the same problem. I changed my video card (a one able to manage DirectX 9) and after that it ran nicely. Keep courage to have fun !

Yes, I think the problem appeared with installation of DirectX 9.0b.

The version of LEGION is in French and I don't know about the publisher (where is this information ?). On the box, I can read names of Nobilis and Paradox.

No, I didn't apply any patch to Legion.
