If at that time an enemy BG is in position to intercept charge (ie flank charge)can it as it would mean...

Testing not to charge.
When testing not to charge do you have to include the +'s for generals?

Support shooting
This has probably been answered before but if it has I cannot find it. If a BG with a rear rank of MF Bow is charged and only one of the front elements is contacted in the impact phase how many of the rear rank can fire?
Thanks in advance Geoff.

The way I read the replies above there is nothing wrong with conforming in such a way that an element can disengage from the element it contacted in the imapct phase. If that is correct, and I do not believe it is, than there will arise situations were you can conform to one BG and disengage from an...

Thanks for the reply. The only problem I have with this is that it can be used to disegage completly from an enemy BG. If you charge someone and an intercept charge by a more powerful BG catches you on the corner of your end elelment you could use this manouver to completely disengage and if the int...

Conforming
Hi, First of all thank you for your help with my question on Spartans even though I was in the wrong area. Last wednesday I watched a game and saw something that caused me a little concern. There were two lines of 4 LH BG's, each BG being four elements strong, facing each other. One side charged two...

Spartan Army List
Hi, A quick question. If I choose a Spartan army do I need to have an allied general if I use units such as the Thessalians LH or the Thracians? My opponent last night claimed that I had to as it says "Unless the C-in-C is of the same origin, troops only permitted to a certain origin can only b...

Wheeling during a charge
Hi, During a game last night a point came up. There were two units facing each other in parallel lines within the restricted area. One player then declared a charge and wheeled his his line so that his angle of charge would permit him to contact another battle group, not directly infront of him, sho...
