I think it's supposed to be General Kutrzeba's army which will be faced in the following scenario.
Maybe it's just there as a kind of foreshadowing. Whenever I play the mission, almost all of those units - besides one or two - stay stationary.

Re: Dairy of an unknown Oberst
*lol* Yes… of course. That's a bit embarrasing now…
Is it possible to change the subject name?

Diary of an unknown Oberst
February 27, 1939 Arrived today at the Panzerschule in Dresden. I’m quite anxious about what they will teach us. Heard something about some new strategy they call “Blitzkrieg”. Anyway, I was told the first maneuver will start in two days (i.e. on Wednesday) and that I should muster my troops until ...

Re: Half Traks vs Lorries/Favourite Infantry
Ah, I see. So it's about its statistics and value in the game, not about the piece per se. Then I just misunderstood you, sorry.
But thanks for sharing the knowledge about it. Maybe I'll imagine my Sturmpanzers as "experimental prototypes" or something… or I'll try without.

Re: Re:
So, to return to the original example: an infantry unit with high initiative might be better off in a regular forest hex than in a thick forest hex, depending upon the initiative of the anticipated adversary. You sure about the infantry? IIRC, infantry is not affected by ini cap… But the infantry s...

Re: Half Traks vs Lorries/Favourite Infantry
I really like almost all kind of infantry. The Wehr Inf is fast (this third movement point often allows me to block cities or chase and kill off wounded troops), and the Grenadiers pack a punch and are relatively cheap (compared to the Pioneers, which have identical stats). Normally I put one of eac...

Re: Leutnant Joker commanding
Erm… what exactly is Rommel difficulty? And I wasn't thinking about a historical composition… I just mean which kind of roles you assign to each part of your army. It could give me more insight into your strategy. :-) You know, I like to see how other people organize their army and which tactics the...

Re: Leutnant Joker commanding
Just watched the first three videos from your Wehrmacht campaign and I have to say I'm quite impressed. :-) It's really fun watching and listening to your commentaries. I especially like the historical plans with which you open up each scenario. Additonally, you seem a very clever tactician, if I ma...
