Scott,
Absolutely sounds historical - again, the issue is if you have this large body of HF, does it take too long (in real time I mean - i.e. to get the game done) for the HF to get across the table.

I don't understand what you mean by charging the enemy light troops with your HF. Unless your opponent is careless, you will never be able to. Stick your light troops 4 inches away from the HF - they can't charge you, (unless I'm missing something in the rules) so all they can do is move 3 inches fo...

Heavy infantry too slow?
My buddy is unable to log onto the forum, so he asked me to ask two related questions for him: Here is the first one: Is anyone else having problems getting their HF into combat? They only move 3 inches a turn, and if your opponent knows what he is doing, will not march more than once or twice all g...

Several questions
Hello all, I don't have the rules with me, and I have a couple of questions. 1) My friend said in an earlier game that if Commanders get within shooting range of an enemy without a friendly BG around them, they are eliminated. I tried to look for that in the rules yesterday, and couldn't find it. Do...

Rank Bonus Questions
Hello again
Another quick question. If an Offensive spear or Pike unit does not have a complete rank, does it get the rank bonus? I.e.: a unit is 3 wide and 2 deep, and then loses a stand. Does it still get the rank bonus?
Thanks!
Jake

Removing Scythed Chariots
Sorry if this has been asked before, but suppose I have a 4 stand unit of scythed chariots, and at the end of the JAP only one is in contact with steady enemy troops. Do I remove that base only, or the entire battle group?
Thanks!
Jake
Thanks!
