Having never played SC2 I cannot offer an honest comparison. I am certain it is great game. It looks good, anyway.
What I like about CEaW is the fast, easy gameplay. The systems are not hard to learn and the nuances within those systems have a simple elegance that lends to the nostalgia of days ...

Medium supply sources, which is all that are available in North Africa and the Middle East, have a supply range of 20 hexes. So if your units move beyond this range, they are immediately out of supply, unless on a coastal hex with a surface naval unit adjacent, or by a surface naval unit with an ...

A few thoughts from an admittedly inexperienced and undereducated Commander.
It seems to me that the whole issue with the Allied defense of Egypt and the Middle East is one of supply - specifically sea supply and its lack of representation in the game. Historically, the biggest contributor to the ...

Thanks for the feedback, Possum. Glad you enjoyed the read!

I dont know if this would have been fatal or not, especially since the Western Allies were gearing up steadily to open the Second Front. What I do know is that such loss would have been a ...

Also, when Upgrades are available I have no way of knowing what they are. So when my Corps shows 3/4, which upgrade are they missing? Viewing the Labs doesnt ...

Well...I have been playing this game basically nonstop for about a week now, and I took out my A3R map and hung it on the wall in front of me. So there is some indication of the "Avalon Effect." I also went kicking around looking for my old Panzer General and Steel Panther games...for a minute...and ...
