Hi all, am starting to build a Protestant German army for 30 years war. Can anyone give me ideas of uinform / colour theames and also sources for flag / standards designes please? Silly question i know, but don't have my rule book with me and am about to start cutting out bases. for 15mm scale figs what are the depths for medium foot. light foot and elephants would really appreciate a quick response - as only have a short lunch break and the band saw is free :) thanks john

hmm well that settles it then, elephants in the middle of the roman line. Just hope they find somthing squishy!
if facing a pike/spear army is there much point in this deployment?

well looking at it i could replace the 1 bg of heavy can (48 pts) with 1 bg of elephants (50) points and have them blocked in the middle or end of the legionaries - .. if they go at the end then they would in theory keep any enemy cav away (cause disorder), however in the middle would be harder hitt...
