I was just wondering. Is this rule put in place to avoid problems with rivers that have come up at DBx tournaments? Such as a impassable river running across the center of the board.

We are planning a special Rule Lawyers supplement full of apparently inconsistent concepts and ambiguous grammar especially for this niche market. I believe they will only be available from an underground shop in the West End. nd we may have John Cleese to provide the full 5 minute argument at a sp...

Overall, the loss of the CinC, does not appear to have as devastating an effect as it does in DBx games. Is this the case?

Later Jewish Army

I am planning on doing a Later Jewish Army (63BC Possibly). Is anyone else doing this army? I plan on using 15 gladiator figures for the "Imitation Legionaires". Anyone have any ideas for figures selection and painting schemes for this type of army?

I have 15mm gladiators with pilum and semi-cylindrical shield that I am using for later Jewish (63BC) army to simulate Jewish tooops using captured Roman equipment and forming up into "Immitation Legionaires". I may also use these and similar troops for a Spartacus Slave Revolt Army, or as...

I have 2 ways of basing: 1) Litko bases with a added piece of rubberized steel to the bottom. Then I have a storage tray with a sheet magnet to hold them in place for transport. 2) I customed ordered bases in teh past that were thinner and had the ruberized stell already added by the manufacturer. T...

I have to agree that it is frustrating and bizarre that the miniature sites cannot post pics of their figures in this day and age. I am far from being a computer guru, but I can still find a way to take a pic of a 15mm piece of lead with my cell phone and upload it to a site. Why cant these guys do ...

I am still holding on to my Baccus Republican Roman and Carthaginian armies. I also have a hard time letting go of painted armies. Besides they are great for running a game against each other.

In our play group I faced an army like that, mostly long bow with field defences. The knights got slaughtered when they attempted a frontal assault of the bowmen. That was on lesson hard learned for the knights :?

I would love to see a Boudicca figure in 28mm (especially one riding a chariot). A plastic line of Ancient Brits, Germans or other warband armies would be great in plastic as the cost of doing them in 28mm metal gets very pricey.
