If longbowmen get 1stake/2bases what happens if they deploy in only 1 rank adn want to place stakes?

I am still holding on to my Baccus Republican Roman and Carthaginian armies. I also have a hard time letting go of painted armies. Besides they are great for running a game against each other.

I have Baccus Republican Roman and Carthiginian based on the 40mm wide bases. I used 16 figures in 2 rows for heavy infantry.

In our play group I faced an army like that, mostly long bow with field defences. The knights got slaughtered when they attempted a frontal assault of the bowmen. That was on lesson hard learned for the knights

Does anyone know a good source to purchase Later Hebrew figures in 15mm?

I would love to see a Boudicca figure in 28mm (especially one riding a chariot). A plastic line of Ancient Brits, Germans or other warband armies would be great in plastic as the cost of doing them in 28mm metal gets very pricey.
