I modded my german version of CDV a bit. The goal has been to improve the 1939 scenario for both sides (Axis or Allies).
I tried to copy and work on some of the ideas i could grab in the different discussions.

I tried to increase the basic movement of tanks available with any level-up in "Blitzkrieg" development.
Unfortunately, although it is shown as an improvement opportunity, the movement stays on the basic level.

i also tried to switch language to 1.
And trying to make it work i renamed the files in the "data" folder (e.g. terrain_eng.txt). But it was not running either.
Even worse after switching the language back to 6 the German version was not working anymore!

Ok, my fault!
I checked my old games and there were some units with differences for the resistance and quality!
And i checked the trick with the CV. It took about 15 times but then the resitance got up one point!

But what is still missing is the experience icon!

Salut - i have the CDV version (german) and the same problem!
Neither the experience icons are shown nor its improvements (quality/ resistance) take effect!
It is as my units stay dumb througout the whole game!

Will this be solved in the v1.05 from CDV

Is there a way to fix/ mod it easily myself?
