Ah yes. Look at all those forward thinking game companies that refused to update their games past Windows 3.1 & berated Windows for forcing users into expensive updates. Darwin principle at work here.

Is it just me or has the map stopped randomising with that last upgrade? The last 6 or 7 games villages etc all in the same spot....

New build loaded with chinook fix etc. 1st game and chinook won't load troops or howitzer. It just comes up with select unit but then won't actually allow you to select.

Chinook offloads howitzer then the games freezes. Each time I try to unload same thing. Nothing responding.

Is the US base always on the right of the screen?

Lots of errors today when using choppers to pick up wounded units. I pick up the unit and the game shuts down. I open it up again and that turn hasn't happened according to the game. It's happened about six times today. The only way to get the game to proceed is to make a different move.

ah! I finally seem to be winning a game! The trick is, garrison your troops in the villages. Doh!

USA Main Base build units - you click on the "I" which I assume is meant to tell you about the unit and it closes the game.

I seem to run out of funds very early on. Is it just me? I'm not finding enough enemy units to earn credits and my funds just seem to be going on supplying my troops. I'm not going overboard in unit creation either, just a howitzer and a fire base. Hmmmm.

It would be nice if choppers were smart enough to return to base after a mission without the micro management.
As it is you can leave them in a spot until they just fall out of the sky.

It plays like a game released too early. Some sounds are missing, any Russian unit seems capable of taking out the best German armor with a grenade, there are times a unit won't move to a spot on the map that should be open ground.
I've stopped playing and will wait for a future update.

Over the last week or so I'm finding turns waiting when I open the game, but I am only getting the occasional email notification. I've checked my spam, nothing there... Maybe two thirds of the time I'm getting no notification email.
