I am about to do the same--get a new laptop to take FOGII with me. Right now it is on my Windows 10 desktop. Did the posted solution work?

I got the latest update of FOGII and then tried purchasing the new module. Each time I get "Error-shopping cart" despite the fact ALL of the info is exactly the same that I've used for years! Even tried a different credit card.

Am having the same problem. I try updating and get an error due to ftp file message. I've tried both from the opening screen and from my page.

Hmm . . . I rebooted then checked for updates. Punched up the game and it was back ON. Got no idea what happened. It must have been the Russians!

I've been playing a multiplayer game here all morning. No problem. Now, when I hit multiplayer it says you're unable to validate my info. ?????

Am trying to download the update for Medieval hoping it will solve the Kalka River problem but keep getting error messages while "trying to open an FTP file." Will restart computer and try again. Have turned off VPN but that didn't help.

Same problem with Kalka River. I put in the opening move for the Russians but all the advance cavalry showed up as just standing there waiting to get hit. I saw that there is an updated version of Medieval but so far have been unable to download it. It's a bit disappointing since I was really lookin...
