So in the DAG lists, make English longbowmen elite. Problem solved :P Yes. If you are allowed to pick a maximum of 16 longbowmen units then make it 0-8 superior and 0-8 average. Well...I tried setting the longbowmen as Elite in a small test scenario and it appeared to make no difference whatsoever ...

I do really know, and believe, that AI is the most important part of a game like this. And I do intend to make an AI which ultimately should beat most of you guys :) IT will take time, but that's my original intention. and also, AI scripting. I was shocked too. In fact, so shocked I had to check twice! Not good after spending time designing a couple of solo scenarios and mulling over which level to set the AI commander to!!! :O(

One of the best things about the rewrite is that it's being done by a FoG enthusiast with a long-term commitment to the game. I think that's a tremendous slice of good fortune for all of us, and very rare indeed AFAIK! As others have indicated, I would much rather that time is taken to get each stag...

Leader Properties in Scenario Design

I'm about to try designing some scenarios and have a question. Up to now I'd assumed that how you set the Leader Properties for each general - Timid, Cautious, Average etc. - would make a big difference to how they perform. But that doesn't seem to be the case judging by my initial attempts to tinke...
