In our group we are finding the opposit problem how to beat the super troops that are the swedes just fought a game with am Savoyard army and got waxed as soon as the salvo foot hits the Bayonet armed troops melt away with ++ at impact and nothing in melee for the bayonet unless you get great shoot...

Have been thinking of using 80mm frontage for my GW figs this would alow 4 human size 3 cav/ork or 2 larger size, chariots fit as single model. then simply dubble the mesurments ant awy we go

I have played several games with 15 aginst 10's you realy don't notice the differance there are several 10mm armies in our group infact i would say they are becoming the majority here in Austin. they do look good but i simply have to much 15mm lead to change

Deeter to try and answer your questions 1. Are there any pose variations within the BGs? Yes I have several poses (around 4)in all the Legion BGs so you can mix or group like ones togather 2. Are any foot command included in BGs? There are foot comand for all 4 Legion BGs but not the Italian alies 3...

I used the Mid Romans with both allies tonight against some Late Carthos. Having 2 allies in this army did not hamstring the Romans for command, the 2 TC ROmans seemed able to cope with the 9 battlegroups of Romans fielded. Top honours went to the Aitolian ally, who led his MF Thureos through 2 uni...

Are people actually doing 10mm in FoG? I ask because all I'd noticed so far were 15mm and 25mm... Obviously the rules are adaptable to any scale you like, though. Several members of our group have 10mm armies from warmaster days (thank god they are gone) and hve converted them to FOG. they are base...

the Later Achaemenid Persian army is evil I faced it with my Suljuk Turks and got my horse handed to me. they were the only army who brought more Bows to the turnement then I did they can be a very good army but do take some finese to run.

I have had more then my share of being a pincushion for your 25mm Swiss the last thing we need is to have them in 10mm also Might I sugest a nice scotish army
