I agree with JLChamberlain - it would be nice to be able to look up the mission aims during the turn (so, I am not the only one clicking it away too fast at the beginning of my turn
). If they are clearly stated in the mission briefing that will work easily by using the "message"-window.

I thought so already. And admitingly it makes sense.
However, it would be nice to implement a warning about the loss of overstrength when a unit with >10 strength is upgraded. It keeps on happening to me that I upgrade "too quickly".

I also have the impression that sometimes the briefings do not very clearly state the mission aims (forgot to take notes for examples but will do so with the next beta version). Especially, in my opinion it would be nice to make clear for what achievements bonus points can be obtained (e.g ...

In the beta I played the selection of the light cruiser in 5,17 would allow selection of docks (9,15;10,16;8,14) without the ship going through the bay entrance.
