i now uninstalled ffdshow codec pack. 1.10 works now! but i was strange that it worked with 1.00 and even "_audio" didnt help. .... but i noticed a further problem: the city names in the maps are completely interchanged. warsaw for example now is named kalisz! every other city on other map...

ok found problem with trial & error disabling processes! it is a win7 process "audiodg.exe" as soon i disable it i can play campaign.

but now i havent sound anymore in my whole system! seems it is a major win audio driver!

there is nothing to debate, it is obviously a patch problem because 1.00 works well! Of course my win7 configuration also causes this (in safe mode it works), for sure it is interesting for everybody to find out what exactly it is! ok give me step by step advice with process explorer, i will try to ...

no, u didnt understand, i already solved sound problem with .wav files converting. about hanging problem: 1. yes it still hangs in campaign 2. no not familar and i really have no time for testing, i purchased a game to play it not to solve problems most of the time. in 1.00 everything works fine and...

just tested in safe mode. there it works and i can start a new campaign! so a windows driver causes trouble?

another point is now that in 1.00 i can not continue my campaign savegame i played in 1.10. seems it is incompatible. when i load it i get ingame interface with minimap and everything on the right side but the main map is black!

yes i already did, so audio problem is solved. i just wanted to meantion that i also had trouble with that mp3. seems that game doesnt like sony vaio notebooks.

installed the game once again, than patching to 1.10, still doesnt work. game version 1.00 works fine, but as soon i patch i can only load campaign save games and start scenarios. to start a new campaign or to continue a campaign and switching map doesnt work with 1.10. i will play without patch now...
