Welcome to 3rd party controlled multiplayer modes
miss Civ4 way of doing PBEM without forced official server and real offline LAN of course

Sometimes blocked sessions are related to cookies. Clearing these may help restore access. Switching to a mobile connection or another network may bypass the block.
