Not necessarily true. The list is split into lowland tribes (heavy foot) and highland tribes (medium foot). A single army must be either one or the other. Are weapon types important? In the past, I have freely mixed swords, axes, and spears for my Gauls. Can I continue to do this so long as the base size and figure count is correct? I would assume this would be OK, but want to check that it won’t give me problems with certain opponents down the road. ...

Helps to some extent, thanks. I suppose I basically need to model the entire army as either heavy foot or medium foot.
