Defender limitations

We have played about a dozen games so far.
It seems limiting the defender to not being able to advance for the first 2 turns makes it very hard on the defenders.
Any thoughts on only 1 turn limitation. We use 25mm figs so the gap between the lines closes very quickly. Our table is 6'x12'.

Thanks

1809 Austrian list question

Looking at the 1809 Austrian list and it's VERY limited on the amount of artillery you can have. My question is can you purchase Horse Artillery and use it with a
Infantry Division?

1809 Austrian List

Any thoughts on using the 1809 Austrian Reserve Corp as the main 800 pt army and 1 division of the main 1809 list.
Not sure if this would be a large enough army to be competitive?

1809 Austrian List

I'm sure this question has been asked already, but I didn"t see it on the Triumph of Nations errata list.
On the Austrian 1809 list the Hungarian Line Infantry says---bases per unit is 6, but the Minimum bases is 4. What is right?

Thanks

AUSTRIAN 1809

Hello,
Planning on a 800 pt. Austrian list. Not sure on what to use from the Reserve list.
Probably be on the defense most of the time so I'm not sure on Grenadiers or Heavy Cav. for one of my divisions.
Any thoughts?
Thanks
