Another element that lessens the effect of physical fatigue in battle is adrenaline. In dangerous situations the adrenal glands pump out this natural speed allowing men to endure much more than they normally could in less dangerous circumstances..

A Bug

Another bug I'm afraid. The 1st SS panzer div in Werbermont has been selected by the AI resulting in repeated click sounds and the game sticking at that point. Here's the save file from which all be revealed:

Thanks Manthril. I think there was nothing wrong with those units retreating off the map in that situation. It was a realistic outcome, the map edge is not a force wall. A fair outcome too as the Germans didn't get the VP's for their destruction and I wouldn't have got to use those units again. It w...

I'm sorry Manthril, I have since started a new game and its autosave has overwritten the old one. I appreciate its hard to replicate.

The retreat outcome defiantly came up. It happened on the map edge in Wanze. Hingeon and Liege had just receive reinforcement units so the retreating units from Wanze would have overstacked. Instead they retreated off map - unless of course the game treats them as 'destroyed' but I didn't see any me...

Allied replacement bug

Playing as the Allies at the start of day 22: I lost an engagement north of the Meuse and was forced to retreat off map as it would've over stacked the zones adjacent. Then I had 2 infantry replacements to allocate - but there was only 1 infantry unit with 1 bit missing on the map - with one unalloc...
