It looks like the developers have gone with hexes. So that makes it a bit harder to implement that idea, but it could still be done. why is that? let's say an attack with 2-3 hexes is considered outflanking (if another unit, is, e.g. adjacent). It might ruffle someone's feathers but do hear me out. Long story short, this is a 4X TBS, not an RPG. An RPG without a story is pretty much a shooter game ('cough', C'2077, 'cough'), and this story (or stories) must be strong; essentially the game revolves around it (them). Now, MoM is Civ (empire...

In short - it has magic, as ironic as it sounds. Roughly speaking, AD&D, MtG and Civ had a baby, added lotsa awesome spices, condiments, sauces, stirred and stewed - and I've been playing it for most of my life, for example!

When you select Skirmish it should bring up a screen giving you an option to select your map, which should have eight options that you can select from... Rebellion, Valley Liberation, Walled City and so on. Are you not seeing these options? I only get what you see in Screenshot1. I never got the me...

I'm not sure what else to do - I can only find randomized maps for Castles conquest (last skirmish scenario). All other are only presets with some themes (archipelago, etc). I can't find the skirmish settings (map size etc) either.

The version I have is 01.02.12913.

What am I doing wrong?
