Re: T-70 too powerful!?
The T-70 has roughly the same gun as the 45 mm AT-gun and should be quite effective against the early (1941-42 and earlier) German tanks but it should no be very useful against later models.

Re: Operation Mercury up for test & review
That one still baffles me... Thanks for providing me with a hint. On the to do list.enric wrote:Hi Louism,
I reproduced the error. It happens when you exit all units in the same turn and it's not the last one.

Re: Operation Mercury up for test & review
LouisM- I've played it a few times, and it seems like both the objectives (cannisters) and parachutists drop randomly throughout the board. I appreciate the idea—and how it captures the chaotic nature of a parachute drop: one cannot know exactly where things will land. However, perhaps this gives t...

Re: Snipers
Of course, the sniper in the scenario can take a sniper shot (I just did - see the picture below). The same conditions as for other units with the elite sniper bonus apply: it can take a sniper shot on the firs shot and only if it has not moved yet in the turn. Now, if you put the sniper unit from C...

Re: Snipers
The sniper unit in Crete is an elite infantry unit with a single man and the "sniper elite bonus". I gave it the same scout range as regular scout units, 50% extended range with respect to regular infantry, an improved ambush skill and a very poor assault skill. In game, you can alway pres...

Re: Operation Mercury up for test & review
I tried to reproduce but no luck until now. I'll try again tomorrow, I remember that I exited all units in the same turn, maybe this is the point. Another thing I found is that British Scout (0) appear from the left, leaving his trench and makes an attack to the german forces, that is like a suicid...

Re: Operation Mercury up for test & review
In the last scenario, Road to Sfakia, the marker of exiting units, initially says 0/7 but the german units are 14, even if the trucks are not counted as units these are 8 combat units, probably indicates how many must exit. Yes, 7 is the required number. It is possible to obtain 14 / 7. For now, th...

Re: Operation Mercury up for test & review
Maybe I should have given a bit of warning first... I wanted to do something difficult. Germany won that campaign by a hairline. This is also the reason why the campaign is not "locked"; victory is not mandatory to move to the next scenario. I win the 1st scenario less than 50% of the time...

Re: Operation Mercury up for test & review
The allied infantry is on a hill side. The panzerbusche is on a different side of the same hill. I think it is a normal feature that the LOS is blocked between the two units.

Operation Mercury up for test & review
Hello The link below points to a campaign I finished a few days ago: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/59181599/LMCrete.zip It is based on the invasion of Crete in 1941. It is a single player campaign of five scenarios. It has little bits of everything except new 3D models. It is the first version, released f...

Re: Adding bonus or object during play?
Thanks about the AUTODOCS tip!
There are new (?) commands that do exactly what I needed (PlaceObject, DeleteObject)

Adding bonus or object during play?
Is it possible to add or remove a bonus during play (ex: removing artillery bonus after a side lose an observation point) If so, what is the script command or the script mechanics? Maybe there is something to be done with SetBonusBaseValue (name, side, value)? I must admit that I do not understand h...
