After a long hiatus, I'm getting back into FoG, wanting to morph my Xyston Classical Greeks into Kyreneans.
So, I'm looking at the army list and noting lots of chariots.
Preliminary research suggests Libyan / Early Carthaginian - 4 horse.

Which manufacturer provides the best sculpts ...

I recieved both an 'out-of-stock' email and a 'dispatched today' email yesterday - hopefully the latter email applies!

Interested in this completely new wargaming period for me (currently reading ECW / Ears of the Three Kingdoms just now, with 30 years war to follow).

Just wondering what miniatures manufacturers are out there that cater for this period?

I'm inclined to go for 15mm, bucking the 28mm ...

Question arose last night when dusting off Fog for a run through - (600pt Syracusan Greeks vs. Rep. Roman.)

When is a 'melee' not a 'melee' when 'feeding bases into an existing melee', as per p72-72 of the rules?

The active Roman player impacted a Cav BG (1 row x 4 files) into my Greek ...

My first impression was that Slitherine would be well positioned, given your existing portfolio?
You seem to have all the building blocks.

I would like to see software that could be used to to provide a framework for creating tabletop gaming opportunities withing the context of a wargame campaign arc.
Use the PC to moderate the campaign but ...

I for one would be disappointed if the PC version did not recreate the tabletop rules exactly.
The only reason I would buy this would be as a virtual tabletop; a rules tutorial & means of FoG gaming whilst unable to game with real lead.
It would give me the opportunity to try different armies ...

You've also got DBA online.

Other slitherine software duly noted - must check them out (I've only dabbled in Rome-Total War)
