I just had a similar issue today. On the Load Game screen, click on "sort saved games by name" upper right corner. It lists your games A-Z and your saved game should be listed.

Superior Maneuver - Gets +1 initiative for each point of movement speed advantage over the enemy. I like to use it on an 8 move recon.

I'm pretty sure it will import your core as is. Probably just copies in a saved file. I'll find out in a couple of days.

I've been able to have core Italian infantry in SCW as well. Once all the aux slots are full and you buy another infantry, it gets the chevron and goes into your core. It stays there as long as you keep it alive.
