Got it figured out,...even though the install of the Kursk expansion initially asks for the license key.
I had to go into the Campaigns, and select one of the Kursk Campaigns,..at that point it asked for the license key (yet again).
That did the trick.

Seems I can't create a Kursk MP game either. Hmmm,...I suppose I'll open an issue with support.

I just purchased the Kursk expansion and installed it,..but it appears that I can't join any pre-existing MP games where the Kursk expansion was needed.
Is this a chicken-egg thing,...meaning,...MP games existing before I installed the expansion are "locked" to me.
But if a new Kursk MP game were ...

Start small,..try Desert Fort. Play from both sides.
Don't get frustrated if you lose a few,..or many games in the beginning.
There are some "game-specific" things you'll need to learn.

I had a similar comment about zoom,...

It seems that the original BA (at least in my opinion) had the perfect default zoom level.
Not so with BA2,...it seems to zoom all the way in,..and I find myself zooming out to a "BA-like" level.
