Re: 1939 Scenario - Hot Seat - Version 3.0 - German PP Loss

Appreciate the font link. Will download now. I see from other forums that the new V 3.0 is compatible with Windows 8 so plan to load this on to another computer. I have to say again how much I appreciate this game. Compared to other WW2 European theatre simulations, I find this the best balance betw...

Re: 1939 Scenario - Hot Seat - Version 3.0 - German PP Loss

Thanks guys. Have been away from the game for a while and didn't realize the Malta penalty had become that expensive. There were pop ups but they cut off the total cost of having too many Axis units in Africa. Lost Benghazi and Tobruk at the same time and didn't take in the impact. Enjoying the V 3....

Re: 1939 Scenario - Hot Seat - Version 3.0 - German PP Loss

Penalty for too many German units in Africa. But 150 PP's is pretty steep. I have played this game in its various versions for years but have never seen 150 PP per turn penalty. Nothing else really causing PP loss (invasions, transports, etc). Pretty standard campaign strategy. France falls, proppin...

1939 Scenario - Hot Seat - Version 3.0 - German PP Loss

Maybe I am missing something. Shortly after Barbarossa in 1941, starting in the July 1941 turns, the German resource total is taking an unexplained loss of about 150 PP's per turn. I cannot determine the cause of this. I have gone back three times to reply and each time the German PP level takes thi...

You're right. The first Canadian units landed in mid-June 1940 as French resistance was collapsing. They landed at Brest, started inland, thought better of it and were quickly evacuated back to England.

CEAW_BJR-v1.06 mod

I think re-installation might be the way to go. Thanks again for all the clarifications. I'm going to see what strategies will still work with these new rules.

CEAW_BJR-v1.06 mod

Thanks for the prompt reply. I appreciate you confirming these issues. Again, your efforts on this mod have lured me back to this game and even just reviewing the posted changes I think you guys have done some impressive work. Now I am just trying to get the low/high resolution thing worked out. I i...

CEAW_BJR-v1.06 mod

Very intrigued by this mod. I am looking through some of the documents. Noted that in the latest documents stated that the Axis start the 1939 scenario with 100 oil. I have downloaded the mod and the Axis appear to start with 250 oil (?). I see in the screenshots that the Axis also appear to start w...
