Its the Video card. I have put in a ATI Redeon 9600 card and the game is working fine.

I have the lastest drivers for my video card.

It hangs on the first first tutor screen. Alt Tab will free it for a short time. It usuallly hangs on every screen change. Sometimes it will free itself, but after 3 or 4 goes of the Atl Tab key the graphics goes haywire. The No sound option didn't make any diference

The Service Pack was a typo it is Service Pack 2 + the lastest updates. At the moment the game is unplayable AS it will crash the PC before the first tutorial finishes. When I load GBoR under Windowz XP (Service pack 3) the mouse or the games hangs. I can relieve it temporarly by using the Alt + Tabs keys but it tends to hang again and locks up for good.
