I would suggest a houserule. Consider every non defensive mission as 5 turns shorter. What i mean is, stop playing the last 5 turns, dont capture anything, dont kill anything and so on. thats not the perfect ssolution because the ai will act of course, but it seems to be the best way to get all rew...

'Deadly Grasp' trait doesnt seem to work in AO SCW, last map, Madrid 1939.

Enemy units only get 2 suppression each turn.
An older save game gives the same result.
