Re: War Stories: Fall of Poland - On Limited Resources
I know what the narrative purpose was, but it causes a deployment issue with the border guard taking up valuable core slots and delaying deployment of the forces I wanted to use - it would be tempting to just select "Custom Army" option, delete these guys entirely turn 0 and deploy a few ...

Re: Reworking Sea battles.
One interesting thing is that the AO 1946 Fugaku bombers actually provide a way to implement Torpedo Bombers by modding Ju 87C, Swordfishes and whatnot to have a ranged attack (Probably stick to Range 1, maybe 2 for late War Torpedoes.). Most likely won't be any animations, but still a big deal for...

Re: Storm Over Europe - (Custom Campaign)
Just finished Storm over Europe. Great work. Hope you go on with your mod. I do not recall where I read this and I hope I misunderstood, but I believe the group working on this decided to stop work. Based on another thread, it looks like they were waiting for Pacific to rework naval combat and unit...

Re: ao'45 and pacific status
So PC2 - Frontlines Bulge is announced. Im looking forward to it. I would have preferred a long DLC series with imported cores and so on, but hey new PC2 campaign content coming, so nothing to complain about from my part :D Good idea this new mini-campaign. maybe a modder will do a long US campaign...

Re: Commendations, Caches, and Collectables
AO 1944E Alt-History Case Orange Events The Hero lineup remains the same as in the Historical route. Kind of a shame, would have been interesting to see our cast diverge in skills depending on how events played out. The starting Cores are different however, and you still get an Azul Infanterie in t...

Re: AO1946 1 turn High fortress
Still, they just look ridiculously and are a cheap copy of the 109z. Nothing I would ever user, even if 2x better than my best available fighters. The F82 Twin Mustang was actually built, and saw combat in Korea. Two surviving planes are displayed at the National Museum of the United States Air For...

Re: Bug Reports
Was snooping around the Unit files and noticed something that is less of a bug and more a typo I assume, but the SBD-5 was called the Dauntless, not the Dountless.

So, was snooping around the Unit files, and have a question:
What the heck is a Jamato-Class when it's at home? Or is that like a dummy entry for the San Fransisco Mission so you can set the Yamato's strength separately?

Re: AO Simple AAR - General Tassadar and his Little Tanks
Fun fact, if you had headed to Southern California, you would have gotten a German Horten H.XVIII Atomic Bomber instead of the Atomic Fugaku.
Just chalk it up to the unfortunate consequences of a blind playthrough.

Re: Commendations, Caches, and Collectables
Not late this time! On a more serious note, this campaign works a bit differently when it comes to rewards compared to all the previous ones. No Optional Objectives to acquire Commendation Points, and no caches that I could find either. Fist, this Campaign has Bonus Objectives, which all involved ca...

Re: AO Simple AAR - General Tassadar and his Little Tanks
I think it's more of a gameplay aspect here as a way to flesh out more bits of the alternate history. You go investigate the balloon sites, and they are occupied purely to serve as a challenging Elite Objective rather than a Bonus. Also, I am about 99% certain those weird wagons are an Oregon Trail ...

Re: Commendations, Caches, and Collectables
Huh, I haven't played PC2 in some time...Oh, they released 1945... 2 months ago!? Jokes aside, I'm sorry this took so long. Lot of things going on, some serious but mostly not, and this game just kinda fell to the wayside for me. AO 1945E Historical Tata Events Nothing majorly new in the starting he...

Re: Is there a way to set the camouflage of a unit's transport?
Title. When I play I like to build "divisions" of different troops, and I use different camouflages to keep them organized in the field and in the unit list. When infantry units go into halftracks and trucks the vehicles do not carry the camo, however some utility halftracks seem to, such...

Re: Unit Toolbox Mod
Hi Stormchaser, thank you for your work and effort on improving Panzercorps 2 units with your unit tool box. As I understand it is also used in other mods. Like all players I got my own thoughts which I would like to share with you. The newest thing with the Grenadiers seems a little bit too strong...

Re: Unit Toolbox Mod
Should Fighter-Bombers like the Bf 110 have Fighter Support? Would it make them too strong, or be a nice change to better represent the alternate use of said airframes as heavy fighters and long range escorts? The best way to deal with this is to add a switch mode to Fighter, with an Init upgrade a...

Re: Unit Toolbox Mod
So, now that I'm back playing PC2 again, I also started working on this once more. Soviets just need the air force finished, and while working on that I had a couple of ideas I've been mulling over that I figured I'd ask the community about. Should Fighter-Bombers like the Bf 110 have Fighter Suppor...

Re: German equipment and AO campaign timeline overview (up to AO 44)
Out of curiosity, has anyone yet figured out how Industrial Connections decides what the pool of potential Prototypes it can give you can be? Does it make a pool of every unit to become available in the next 6 months, kinda like a reverse Retrograde, or something else? I think it's randomly picked ...
