Yesterday I played Moscow 43 on FM and won a DV relative easily. I think I finished the Sowjets 2-3 turns before the deadline for a DV. After Stalingrad and Kursk I was surprised, to take Moscow without big trouble. I created two armies, one advancing in the east of the map straight to the north. Th...

I checked the amount and i got exactly 2880 prestige for a decisive. I hope that your "around 3500" prestige are 2880 because otherwise you get more prestige for a marginal victory. He was adding in the prestige for flag captures too! Exactly. So I really can't tell what you get by a marg...

Great job! DV on Stalingrad is really, really hard to achieve. Respect!

To the additional amount of prestige, how much did you get? Achieving a minor victory I got something around 3.500 points, including the prestige I've got by taking smaller citys and airfields.

Stalingrad on Field Marshall as Desicive Victory?

Hi everyone! I replayed the campaign in FM and won Moscow 41 as Marginal Victory on purpose (I want to collect more XP until I invade the US in 1945, England is already taken in 1940). Now it comes to Stalingrad and I'm unable to gain a Decisive Victory because of the last victory point/city in the ...

I started a new campaign this weekend, but this time on Field Marshal. And I had the same idea for the level bombers. Instead of buying 2x Ju-88, I took one Ju-88 in Norway first, and in France I bought a He-111. The Heinkel isn't bad as the Do-17 and in the end of the campaign a very dangerous oppo...

I managed to win Sealion 1940 on Field Marshal this weekend as a decisive victory. The way I did it: 1. I already had 2x Level Bombers, adding the AUX units on the map I had 4x bombers in all. This way it was pretty easy to deal with the Royal Navy. 2. I moved the whole invasion fleet up north and l...

Yep, a nice outro video would have been a propper reward. I was a bit disappointed about the end as well... After fighting and winning so many tough battles.

With all the rivers in the Low Countries and lack of tanks, I was moving really slowly. If you plan your attack carefully, you only have to cross two rivers in the whole scenario. The first one ist the river up north near your starting point, where you can easily outflank the Netherland units with ...

I played on General and won all of the european scenarios and US Midwest as decisive battles in the second run. US East and West Coast I only managed to achieve marginal victories. I think General is a good choice for a PG Veteran who wants to get used to PC. I tried a Field Marshal scenario once an...

Yep, the He-177 is great... but also very expensive. And the He-111 is weaker than the Ju-88.

Yep, Dornier 335s are available in 1945 scenarios. I think even in the Germany battles, when some of the eastern and western scenarios have been losses. When you upgrade from Junkers to Dornier bombers, you have to spend much more prestige. If you stay in the "production lines" (f.e. Bf-10...

In the US scenarios I even upgraded my fighter units to 8: 4x Me-262 4x Ta-152 Additionally I switched my three Stukas to Dornier 335s, because they are good fighter bombers who can attack enemy level bombers without serious losses as well. As level bombing backup I used two Ju-188 (upgraded Ju-88s ...

Okay, I did it at last! Just played the whole campaign again from the start and I focused on more fighter units, some more towed artillery and at least two level bombers. And when I invaded the east coast, I switched my Stukas to Do 335. Together with my 8 fighter units I had a formidable Luftwaffe....

First of all thank you both for your help! :-) Now to the suggestions in detail: I would... Drop the AD units from your core. If you disband these units during the deploy phase, you are returned 100% prestige. Get more towed artillery 150s (you lose too much time resuppling 4 ammo units constantly) ...

Thank's for the link, but hey played on "Colonel" and I think, Jagdpanthers aren't good enough on "General" to beat Pershings. I already tried a similar setup on Mid West and there the Pershings have beaten the crap out of my Jagdpanthers and Panthers. So I switched to Tiger II a...

US West Coast: help needed!!!

Hi everyone! I played the campaign on "General" till the last scenario, the US West Coast... which I cannot win. Whatever strategy I use, I always cannot take San Francisco within the turn limit. The best try so far: I just would have needed one more turn to win. My most successfull setup ...
