6. Barbarossa It's weird that Russians did not take any extra caution even after Britain's fallen. Anyway Operation Barbarossa is still possible, yet it doesn't mean this scenario is easy. After Sea Lion, the challenge level has been up a notch. I don't feel like I could say much about this one. As ...

Very interesting. I believe you are right, the numbers fit my impressions. I didn't pay much attention to probabilities for I can see them directly and have an idea. I am dying to know about how initiative comes into work though. I knew it's not linear, and around a difference of 4, there is also a ...

This cannot be right, for you did not take initiative into account. More I have played, more I come to realize that initiative may be the most important attribute of melee units in Panzer. For instance, when you attack a Mustang, usually you will find yourself probability-wise facing more losses tha...

Cadet notes on Blitzkrieg
With Panzer Corps , I'm having amazing WW2 experiences while exploring some ingenious mechanism of the game. I have also come across lots of frustrations from rookie mistakes, and some of them took me time and thankfully helps from forum to figure out. So this note is devoted to first-timers who are...

If this is your first attempt at campaign, obviously you've read more than enough from forum. So why not give your theory a try first? Because at this stage of the game, great room of error is still allowed and can be amended later, and with your knowledge of the game, I'm sure you'll do just fine. ...

Yup that Russian mud sucks. I've come to accept a decisive victory in Moscow 41 is unobtainable. At least on the highest difficulty levels, especially with bad weather. Luckily I only want a MV to get the extra 3 scenarios in before America...even a loss would be ok (though I assume I won't get as ...

I believe it's only logical that you'll get less prestige when you achieve a decisive victory. Usually an unintentional MV player barely comes by, it's sadistic to put him into a more difficult situation than a DV palyer... But this is against the concept of prestige = standing or estimation in the...

However, I have to give up on ATs either, it turns out I won't even have that kind of prestige, maybe I should have made the exchange from day-1. :( I'm still in Moscow, and estimates under 10k prestige in USA, reinforcement fee included. So I'll have to make a choice between PZ4Ds vs Pershings and ...

So what's the exact attacking penalty for ATs? help plz! >
In the tutorial, it's suggested that AT units will suffer a penalty when initiate an attack. The lack of further elaboration (numbers), however, really bothers me, and therefore I hadn't build any ATs before, which turned out fine until now. Currently I am in Russia under Rommel and aiming for the M...
