Interesting what this says about the scoring system. Nothing against rth but he gets a huge number of points for beating a player who clearly collapsed in the last game, but a tough win against a skilled player will net you 100 or so points less.

Just seen this thread. These look like excellent updates to me. We'll see them in action in the tournament just started.

Two of them have disappeared from my list in the last couple of days. The one that is still there is a 1v1 Arctic Fox scenario against a player called darthrodent. It is still on turn zero dated 26 Oct 2021. Have just tried to claim it again but get the same result as described above.

You do get more points for getting the bridges early. But you also lose the opportunity to get 1 VP per turn for the silver flag locations.

I have three MP games in my list where my opponent hasn't played since October.

Am trying to get rid of them by using the Claim button but all I get is a revolving rising sun with the message "Connecting. Please wait..." The only way to escape this is to exit the game altogether but the old games ...

I think it should be possible to disband a unit in such circumstances - in real life a unit in that situation would probably surrender, which amounts to the same thing. But it should definitely count as a destruction for VPs in my opinion.

Disbanding is fine.

The scenario rules will usually take note of this and award a unit "kill" to your opponent.

Yes, same problem I had. Download MicroMod 2.6 shared by Erik on page 97 of this thread, then do as described by Brenmusik on page 96.

Worked for me just a couple of days ago.

Very happy to see a new Market Garden version and even happier to report that I have resolved my MicroMod issues. 3.1 went to black screen again but I succeeded using the BrenMusik method :D

I did a test.
Removed my local MicroMod and Korea mods and downloaded/installed both from the dropbox zips.
Restarted my PC, ran OOB and selected the fresh mods. Both worked fine.
I then created a new Settings/options.dat using standard HD fullscreen (non-windows).
I have added this options.dat ...

This is a very odd issue.

Install it, check that it work, then install 2.8 on top of it and say 'yes' to overwrite files.
