Re: Bug or no?
agree 100% Yes. Edit: Maybe. How many captured planes were actually used in the war? Not very many. Indeed. They were mainly used for testing and evaluation. So yeah, capturing an airfield should result in destroyed planes, not captured. that makes sense - I was curious about how many captiured air...

Re: The T-60 - Light Tank No More?
I don't really understand what you mean. Does the fighters deal more damage the closer their home base that they attack? And the I-16 is supposed to not be that great, so that is all fine in my book. Yes. Fighters receive an accuracy bonus relative to their remaining movement allocation, so will pe...

Re: Bug or no?
Thanks guys - just wanted to say that apparently the AI doesn't want to use friendly faction's airfield either. Just played dunkirk and 3 French planes nose dived instead of re-basing to a British airfield farther North. It´s the tea, is it not ? French pilots will rather walk home than to fly from...

Re: The T-60 - Light Tank No More?
So with these apparent inaccuracies in unit ratings, how long do you think it will be until people start trying to do their own edits to the statistics? I'm not even sure it's possible - but again, hearkening back to my PG2 days, people (smarter and with more time on their hands) than me, made their...

Re: Bug or no?
My experience is any plane "stationed" at an airfield does that if the airfield is captured (in air or not) ... In the air or not? How can you tell if it's not? All planes look to be in the air, whether they're stationed at a base or elsewhere. It would also be cool to be able to capture ...

Bug or no?
I captured an enemy airfield and the plane that was based there, upon the AI's turn, immediately nose dive and crashed. I definitely did not attack it in my turn....

Re: Paratroopers
My 2cents on paras - 1) so far they seem to be incredibly strong. I assume enemy fighters can intercept, but they haven't so far, even when my transports were unprotected and were in the ememy's LOS. 2) Planes can fly into a drop zone, and the paras can jump in the same turn so if there are any AA, ...

Pool points, captured equipment, planes etc
So - can a German piece of equipment be "upgraded" to a piece of captured equipment? I tried to do so, and it didn't let me. Also, what are pool points and how are they allottoed? Finally, can planes be captured? Obviously it can't be done in the air, but wondering if it can be done if you...

Re: Supply question
As I get deeper into the game, I see what you guys mean about supply lines being cut, etc. Still trying to get the handle on encirclements, but I must have done enough to capture some equipment in Belgium. Wondering how it will play out in the air. You can't capture planes can you?

Supply question
Question on supply gang - as an old PG2 player (I didn't play PC1), I am struck by the amazing similarities this game has to my old stand by...while adding some definite improvements (embarking units, heroes, etc and of course graphics). One thing that had to be done in PG2 is to monitor the fuel/am...

Re: Artillery is Rather Broken
kverdon - did your edit work? I did it but the arty support trait isn't showing up in the game in the unit description. I'm not 100% sure editing just the UNITS Excel doc does the trick. That'd be too simple. But I know very little about programming etc....

Re: PG2 player
Thanks Kerensky for the quick response...yes, while there was some user campaigns that had a few more from Spain, I think there was just the Madrid scenario in the original Pg2 blitz campaign. But I liked it because of the early materiel that you were restricted to. Anyway - thanks again for the res...

PG2 player
As a loooong time PG2 player (I actually remember buying the game off the shelf in a local Best Buy...I think it was 1997), I was super excited to try PC2 especially since PC1 didn't have the "overrun" capability. I purchased the FM edition, and so far so good! Some questions/observations....
