I finished the round and my score is 0, it must be a serious bug with it. In previous tournaments we would get points for keeping Victory Hexes each turn and for killing enemy units. Early tournaments would punish players for winning the round early, as they did not get the remaining of the VH point...

I finished the round capturing all hexes with both sides. Besides the fact that the game did not end, and I had to play all turns, final score was... Zero! So the round is bugged.

Edit: It happens in high ranking games too, my opponent stalled the game for his last remaining turns as the defending side, after winning his attack. All he had to do was just to end turn. Not nice. :( And I have to admit I was a bit worried he will not finish his game, but eventually all ended well.

My opponent also inactive.

I do not understand why these guys did join the tournament...

I wonder if admin can send them another email or something asking to play the game.

Also I hope that inactive players will be automatically droped from next rounds.

By the looks of it, these small maps don't give much room to strategy but rather to luck.

And also the side that starts first seems to have a great advantage on taking those VHs.

However, I do look forward to see maps from WCT open to public.

Btw, will we get to see a WCT '23 maybe?

I think there is easy solution: a) more points should be given to the person who played with the one who stopped: Points for victory of game + all points for taken victory hex and 50-80% for the other victory hex, sum multiplied by the number of remaining rounds. b) person who stop play should get ...

We already have weather prediction for next turn, so I don't see any downside if one of the players would know in advance the weather for the whole game.
