Re: Suggestion for a DLC
That's a good idea: mine "Order of Battle" for candidate conversion scenarios. Almost all of my conversions, so far, have been from single-player to 2x Human vs. AI (PvE, co-op) and no PvP (Human vs. Human). A friend and I enjoy live co-op games where we can coordinate our moves via Discord (voice ...

Re: Suggestion for a DLC
If you have PzC2 through Steam I have converted over 25 scenarios to co-op (2 Humans vs AI) and uploaded them to the Steam Workshop. If there was sufficient interest I could mirror them to a different host for non-Steam users.

Re: PC2: Elite - All American | Out Now
The DLC is *very* generous with experience points. On generalissimus, as always.
Agreed. So much XP was awarded that I had numerous 5-Star units when only 2/3rds of the way through the campaign. Also, I played on General (3/5 difficulty) and had over 80K(!) Prestige at the end even though I was ...

Re: which to choose? SOE after Vilipari
Note that you can Upgrade a unit to a different unit type within the same class for the difference in Prestige and Slots with NO loss of experience; also, as a minor benefit you get Elite Reinforcements for the cost of Non-Elite. For example, Cavalry are great on maps with numerous roadless Forest ...

Re: Is multiplayer mode limited to 2 players?
It depends on the scenario but you can have more than 2 players per side and more than 2 sides.

Memoir '44: Where to find more news?
Memoir '44 was mentioned briefly in Slitherine Next 2026 but I could not find any more news related to this title. Specifically, is it a re-release of the "Days of Wonder" title published on Steam in 2011 or something new?

Re: So where are all the mods?
I feel that, in the near future, games are unlikely to have true AI computer opponents (CO) unless they require a subscription because backend (server-side) processing -- even for a LLM-based AI -- costs money. I could see, however, AI-assisted programming (codified, not dynamic; just like today's ...

Re: In Westwall, why are some of my american units green and unable to move??
They belong to player #3 who is on your side but not controlled by you; as the post above indicated: they are AI-controlled. You, likely, share vision, airfields and support with player#3 but not slots or prestige. I suspect that they have been given orders to Hold Position but, if a specific unit ...

Re: Future Roadmap
The upcoming "Allied Operations" (in Italy) linked campaign will, eventually, be 3 DLCs where you can import your Core army from the previous campaign in the series. The first campaign (available April 29th) consists of 12 scenarios though your Core army is split between UK and US until the 11th ...

Re: Bolt Action Has Been Announced
Looking forward to this title and thinking how much money it will save by not having to collect -- and paint -- miniatures and terrain. Hopefully, they will add support for a multiplayer co-op campaign in the future.

re: Leningrad 1941
The reason the game crashes is that it looks like 12 Infantry units were deleted so the script crashes when it attempts to move those units into their randomly determined hexes.
Specifically, these units (IDs) are missing:
inf = {176,177,178,179,180,181,182,183,184,185,186,187 ...

Re: NETSCAPE'S Multiplayer Scenarios
I would like to convert and re-publish some of these multiplayer scenarios -- giving NETSCAPE full credit -- on Steam's Workshop to increase visibility and simplify downloading and installation. I have already converted the co-op scenario "1941" -- as a test -- but will remove it immediately if ...

Re: Allies Victorious discussion?
I used P38 Lightnings for disrupting AA defense units, specifically the nasty 88mm flak guns, before unleashing a formation of B17s. The Lightnings, however, did not seem as good in the tank-busting role as the classic Stuka. I used B17s to soften-up (degrade efficiency and entrenchment) ground ...

Re: How to hold a parade? Allies Victorious, Paris
See the thread titled "Allies Victorious: Paris Scenario Question"
Basically, just capture the hex with a US unit -- not a French unit -- to fulfill the objective; actually, capture may not even been required, perhaps it works even if you enter the hex (after it has been captured)?

Re: Allies Victorious: Paris Scenario Question
You need to capture the hex (Arc de Troimphe) with a *US* (not French) unit just like you had to capture the Eiffel Tower with a French (not US) unit for the "Raise the flag" objective. You can still use other units to clear the hex, the first Allied unit to enter the hex triggers the condition ...

For some reason, the links don't work for me, it just takes me to a Google Support page about cookies, IDK what's going on. I have the game through Steam if that matters.

Handicapping multiplayer games?
Multiplayer scenarios seem to be intended to be balanced challenges (for all sides) but is it possible to adjust the difficulty or add a handicap so 2 (or more) players of different skill levels can compete fairly?
Also, what does the difficulty setting do when starting a multiplayer scenario? Does ...

Re: Allies Resurgent neutralize Foggia airfield
It takes 2 bomb runs per airfield so, if you have 3+ top-end strategic bombers (like a US B-17 or UK Lancaster), you should be able to complete the objective in 2 turns (plus travel-time to reach the airfields). Attacking the nearby AA unit (8.8 Flak) with other aircraft that have decent ground ...

Re: Allies Resurgent-Armored Shermans cause save game corruption? and missing tool tips on campaign map
The armor mode change appears to work, for me, but I noticed an immediate efficiency degradation as soon as you move with the armor activated. Is that intentional?
