Re: Field of Glory 2.0 - coming October 18th!
Oh dear - is it me or is this new fangled technology all just a bit shit??? Brand new release and its riddled with faults. Surprise, surprise, surprise! Glad I was born in an age that didn't depend on instant gratification that then ultimately leads to lots of frutstraion when it all goes tits up. D...

Re: 2mm armies or top down counters...
I have my copy of FOGN and i will buy the army lists.... anyway i have real problems to test the game with 15mm. I was thinking on using 2mm armies or even top down counters, can you suggest some places where i can find 2mm army packs (maybe painted) or some good top downs counters like the one use...

Re: QRS: Update??
It was mentioned a while back that a revised QRS was being worked on or would be worked on. Any update on this? There's an "unoffical" QRS available on the FOGN Yahoogroup - just uploaded last week. It is multiple pages but well done and most importantly -readable for those of us with &qu...

Re: QRS: Update??
Oh, and whilst on the subject, why is the question of a usable QRS being ignored so many months after the rules launched?

Re: QRS: Update??
You'll be lucky. Apparently the suggestion is "photocopy the qrs from the book" Neither helpful, nor practical given the QRS in the book is... 1. Out of date and has loads of errors 2. Printed in a font so small to make it practically unreadable to anyone under the age of 50/anyone with le...

Re: Is there a printable QRS out there?
I sent the game designers a four page qrs I had typed up in a reasonable font within a month of the main rule book coming out. Haven't received a single comment in feedback since - only one or two emails early on to say that they had receivd it but were too busy with other projects set for release. ...

Re: Triumph of Nations Supplement
The usual expediency applied to a perfectly reasonable question once again I see. Oh well. At the speed I paint I might just get an answer by the time my forces are ready to face each other on the table in twelve to eighteen months time. Who knows, by then we might even have a QRS or possibly sub bo...

Combat resolution
Two small average drilled reformed line units come face to face. The french unit is in tactical formation, the russian unit is in line. Afetr firing (which caused no cohesion loss) the French Tactical Formation crashes into the Russian line. In the ensuing combat both score enough hits to make the o...

Re: Sub forums
Dont get me wrong - FoG N is an absolute godsend after what seems like a couple of decades of flavourless or over-simplistic napoleonic rulesets, but waht worries me about this development is what feels like a lack of sinse of urgency in terms of getting simple things like forum boards, QRS and erra...

Re: Sub forums
I see no reason why a QRS and Errata should preclude new boards. The latter is useful, doesn't take a lot of effort True; However boards dont enhance game play which I am guessing most people would prefer to be doing than browsing the web scouring for answers to vague and unusual situations. FoG R ...

Re: Attachments: Base Exchange or...
I too am thinking 'markers' rather than substitute bases for artillery and skirmisher attachments. My Artillery markers will use guns 'a la FoG Ren' whilst for skirmishers I'll use a single base of two figures like under Lasalle. To denote a unit which is skirmishing I intend to use two skirmish mar...

Re: FOGN errata
How far away is an official errata?
I am really struggling (not just in this thread - but in others too) to keep track of what has been agreed as an errata and what hasn't
Some of the errata questions dont appear to have had official answers which makes things even more confusing.
