They just updated the Pacific's posts in Steam discussions in a way that looks like it's being delayed (yet again) past the "summer" release window Slitherine had suggested just a couple months ago

As mentioned in another thread, Pacific will probably be released in the end of summer. My personal guess is September.

If you listened carefully, the beta will start in January at the latest. Usually there's been about a month of beta testing before its release. I predict sometime in February Pacific will be released, or something close to that, give or take. Not six months from now!!

Expert Recon hero is supposed to provide 3x accuracy bonus, but it only provides +3, which is basically useless.

I overstrength units with heroes, so with fire multiplier heroes you get either 22 or 30 shots. With base accuracy that means 11 or 15 hits.

88 is a monster provided some conditions. Anti-Air veteran commander trait with two heroes: Camouflage and rapid fire.

Rapid fire with anti-air veteran kills all airplanes straight away. With camouflage new enemy planes keep coming, all shot down, none of them doing any harm, until AA ammo runs out ...
