Could be.

Partial failures
I'm hesitant to even mention this, but I'll say it anyway. I think there should be several partial failure conditions in the future, such as the retro-jettison stage, if it fails reduces the 'safety' of the re-entry stage. Just like on John Glenn's Mercury mission and Boris Volynov's Soyuz 5 Of cour...

Re: Thor-able booster mission freeze .75+
Didn't happen second time around. I used 800/600 res second time around(other one was slightly to high for my monitors res) so it may be because I used the 1024/ resolution first time.

Thor-able booster mission freeze .75+

Black screen/no anims + gets stuck on first stage after it announces success, I'll do this again in a sec to see if its a 1 off.

Good comments!
I wonder if anyone has bought this who hasnt played BARIS, nearly everyone who comments are 'fans of BARIS' I include myself in this! I even have the Liftoff! board game in front of me(that BARIS was based off).

How long until astronaut death is implimented
*Approximately!
??? Once astronauts can die, I think it's time to really give this game a real go!!!
Rather than STEP FAILED, YOU LOSE PRESTIGE.

Re: A few questions for developers
^ this I understand that it would be massively more effort to put in Vostok art and mechanics with Mercury, but it looks like based on the probes and Sputnik you begin with the premise of both Soviet and US Missions... then you only deliver on the US. Just feels wierd. Also for an added mission that...

Why have Sputnik and the and soviet Lunar probes but not Vostok, sounds like a wierd design choice to me.

Re: Renaming astronauts/flight engineers
As I said, it doesn't spoil the fun, and maybe I'm alone in thinking the ability of renaming people is a good way of drawing people into the game. But it does REDUCE the fun, even if only slightly, and for what? Currently I don't give a flying **** who pilots missions in BASPM, but I should and BARI...

Re: Renaming astronauts/flight engineers
If the apollo tier allowed me to rename astronauts, i'd buy it. But I don't feel the need to have my face in it, or pay for the privilege.... Yes, it is clearly stated, but something clearly stated does not make it a good idea. The problem is not that renaming is beyond the capability's of the game ...

Re: Renaming astronauts/flight engineers
There are many ways to thank people, using a feature which is a much loved part of BARIS, removing any chance of it ever being used, is about as shitty as it gets. I don't even want my name in the game, I would have liked to rename all the astronauts to friends/family like in BARIS, but i'm sorry, t...

Re: Mars orbit/lander mission
Same problem again. Looks easily reproducible to me.
TitanIIIE-Centaur booster doing probe deployment and injection just has ...................................................................... loading stuff forever.
Step 5 of the Viking mars lander/probe.

Renaming astronauts/flight engineers
Will this be implimented? It was one of the Charms of BARIS having your friends enter the Mercury program
and burn up die
I think its a very simple thing that makes a game so much more fun, just wondering if its even planned? I hope so!
