Never have seen it, unfortunately... no "fortified goose egg" here.
I have seen the 101st Airborne wind up in and assist in the heroic defense of Bastogne a couple of times, though.

I hadn't played much RttM over the last several weeks so decided to try some games last night and this AM...
Impressive... MOST impressive!
Playing as the Allies against the von Rundstedt AI I managed only 2 victories against 4 draws and 1 loss. Kudos to Miguel and the team!

Company Commander really is excellent, I think. We tend to read about and spend more time thinking about the big, sweeping actions of armies... but this book gives such a feel for what the day-to-day life of a combat infantryman was like- the fatigue, the boredom, the misery of sitting in the dirt- ...
