You know Early Germans, Gauls etc..
Are they viable as masses of foot or will they require something more like a few bg's of sturdier allies or mounted?
Which lists would be more suited and why?
Without access to the lists I have no way of determining this for myself.
Thanks

shouldn't you contact manufacturers if you are planning to use their figures? I'm sure they would be more then willing to have their minis displayed in your rulebook. As a matter of fact, I was speaking with David of Kingsford Miniatures last weekend at our local conventino about thsi very thing. Yo...

Thnaks for the reply Nik. I've got some Moors modelled already for DBM including javelinmen behind camels. I hope the army might be more effective in AoW. Camels sound pretty tough. Will they maneuver as well as cavalry too or does that just depend on being drilled or not? If so I imagine they would...

I think the title can go two ways. And this is just off the top of my head. I'm sure the design team has thought this through already. So beware of rambling ahead. :) The title could be very descriptive like all Osprey books. This makes sense for Osprey titles since they are meant to be informative ...

I'm still wondering about basing for AoW. This thread does not give a definitive answer. We all want to play with our old elements, but if AoW is a big sucess, as I'm sure the designers are planning, then it will be the standard for basing within a few years. With that in mind, I encourage the use o...

English longbowmen and billmen according to some accounts. We intend to take this on a case by case basis, which is why it is only allowed if specified in the army lists. This brings another question to mind. Will these troop types be able to deploy in the same battlegroup? Will it be specified in ...
