Everytime I try to register in order to peruse the pbem challengers, I get a dialog box stating "invalid parameters passed." Is there something I dont know??

I just finished downloading this game and when I start up the game, I get a message stating that the game is running in introductory mode. However, there is no "next button, or a "continue" button, or anything to remove the screen and message and allow me to proceed to the actual game...
