Yay! thank you for this DLC, I really wanted to play a realistic game in this era for as long as I can remember!

Same texture having two files
It is a rather tiny thing, but you might want to look at it: In the "battle\UnitTextures\ texture1 " folder the 3 texture files for "Hebrew Foot" are duplicated, with an additional set of 3 files without the transparency @ thing. Basicly the folder contains: Hebrew_Foot_Diffuse.d...

Re: Script question.
Thank you for your time,
I'll test if this works for my use, as I want to make it a global mod if possible to activate when I want to change textures.

Mipmaps Mod
Hello all, This a mod that adds mipmaps to the official textures that were imported from TTmod, wich did not have have them. I absolutely love the TTmod from Paul59 but I must admit I personally need the mipmaps for the units to look like the ones the developers made when it comes to offical campaig...

Script question.
I am intending to make a global mod to exchange wich side uses wich textures when toggled on. The only method I've found involves moving around a whole lot of textures in several folders and is a bit of work, so before I plunge into that I should probably ask: Is there some nice script file or line ...

Re: Setting Idea
Thank you very much! It is nice to know it is a possibility. I would agree with you Dux Limits, I too want to see unique textures for every army :) Sadly that is probably too much work while dlcs are being made and in the meantime I would be happy enough to choose wich textures to put with wich flag...

Setting Idea
Hi all! I wonder if it would be possible to add a button to "choose side textures" to load for your army before a battle. It could solve the issue I had with red flags being assigned to blue units and vice-versa. I don't know for sure but I imagine it wouldn't be too hard to have a script ...

Re: What armies/units are you looking forward to in future DLCs?
I know almost nothing about Indian medieval warfare (so far as the eurocentric term 'medieval' even applies to India) so I hope Field of Glory II Medieval will educate me on that topic a bit. Field of Glory II Ancients gave the impression that Indian combat pre-1000 A.D. revolved around little more...

I can't wait to see what they do with Indians! I really hope they make models for them specifically for the medieval era.

Re: Field of Glory II: Medieval is coming soon
Personally I found FoG2 to have easier graphics to parse, with everything needed to know quite visible at a glance with no need of icons. Like rooting enemies looking like fleeing people without arms, disordered regiments looking disordered, troops having easily visible weapons and armor levels etc....

Re: Small TTmod question
Thank you for your answer, I figured it wouldn't be that easy, oh well x) I'm happy enough to play the mod on custom battles/campaigns ultimatly. I have indeed uninstalled the game and deleted the modified files afterwards when I saw it didn't work as I wanted so everything should be fine. Have a ni...

Small TTmod question
Hello eveyone, I'd love to be able to use the TT mod banners and maybe even textures when playing historical battles/campaigns, I also do not intend to play multiplayer anytime soon. I tried replacing the field of glory 2 main folder data with the one from the mod (units, banners, unittextures), but...

Re: 3218 hours in and my first real game gripe- fall back blocking
Not sure if it could be abused, but maybe the simplest solution would be to have a CT (or maybe even an auto-drop) for the blocking unit, wether it is an enemy or friend. That way neither player would be very intent on blocking other units in melee, it might also help simulate the "Cannae"...

Not sure if it's a bug.
Hey, first of all, awesome game! I came across a case where i'm not sure if i'm seeing a bug or if i'm not understanding the rules fully: In the Epic Battle of 'Taginae' I wanted to charge my Ostrogothic lancers on the Byzantine dismounted archers, but the result it proposes seems off, with 40% loss...
