Some miscellaneous questions
Hi Guys,
I have a few questions that came up in our game tonight:
When Infantry are in the open and need a cohesion test if assualted by Cavalry, on page 30 it states that it ends up in the formation chosen even if the test is failed. Is it correct then, that if it were steady and failed the test ...

Wavering response to assault
Hi Guys,
I have a question on the bottom left hand column of page 30, regarding Wavering units being assaulted and requiring a Cohesion Test. If they fail, becoming Broken, it appears that they stay in place and do not perfrom an Outcome Move, correct?
In some cases, the unit would essentially be ...

Pre-Measuring
Hi Guys,
In general, is pre-measuring allowed in FOGN?
Specifically the question came up during a movement phase and a player moved his unit outside of the movement reach of the opponent to avoid being charged and we measured it, measuring the distance to insure it was.
There are many things that ...

Another extended line question
HI Guys,
This has probably been covered before, but I looked around the site but couldn't find a direct answer on the question we had in our last game. We understand the concept that an extended line fires as 2 units and if one is lucky enough to concentrate the fire at short range, it can be ...

A few Recovery questions
Hi Guys,
This may have been covered elsewhere, but I couldn't confirm them:
1) Could two separate officers, i.e. a Corps and a Division commander roll for the same unit and assuming they both pass, recover 2 levels in one turn?
2) When a unit recovers, it states it may face in any direction, but ...

Artillery in close combat
Hi,
A pretty basic question, I'm getting ready for our first game and I wanted to confirm how many dice artillery use if they actually get into close combat.
1) Unlimbered guns, assuming they pass the Cohesion Test, then Fire and assuming their opponent passes any tests and makes contact, is it 4 ...
