Re: Is their a mod which makes armies to scale in this?
It is funny when you get a computer simulating the limitations of a tabletop. I think this game is kind of cute in a reminiscing kind of way. I will eventually get it on sale for a bit of nostalgia. But when we had tabletops we were dreaming of computers being able to simulate things properly. There...

Re: Is their a mod which makes armies to scale in this?
Shame. That mod does not improve numbers appreciably. Here is what it looks like to me (1993 game iirc) in terms of unit numbers. Although I guess it does simulate massive an older 1/48 huge miniatures tabletop game I guess.

Is their a mod which makes armies to scale in this?
Would love to see hundreds of men in tight knit formations instead of the 8 or so per hex.
Also is their any sort of mod allowing continuous formations linked together over hexes? To simulate a massive phalanx or such?

Was thinking of getting this? Any good? Does it cover the first cylon war. Or is it just another rip off with very little effort or information behind it? https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/51Ylzh%2BJN9L._SX258_BO1,204,203,200_.jpg https://www.dymocks.com.au/book/science-of-battlestar-...

Re: Blood&Chrome Battlestars Galactica and Valkyrie canon -
A person on another forums answer to me: "Galactica was mostly demilitarized by the time the reboot show started as she was getting decommissioned. So it having more weapons during Blood and Chrome is fine. I also recall that having retracting flight pods was more of an idea then a need. also t...

Don't know where this one came from. The model's dimensions look a bit off.

All three together in model form.
I don't think these are to scale though as the Pegasus should be much bigger

Blood&Chrome Battlestars Galactica and Valkyrie canon - some
Is anybody a fan of battlestar galactica re-imagined to ever have compared the ship designs and their timelines in canon. People who are tend to say that blood and chrome rehashed newer models into an older war to save money. Upgunned them all as well. Galactica was bristling with guns in blood and ...

Reliable BSG sourcebooks and novels?
Anybody got a list? A new series canon ship guide would be brilliant.
Novels that don't conflict with canon on the new series would also be great.

Re: Close combat - Panthers in the Fog
Fingers crossed its an entirely new engine in 3D. I'm thinking company of heroes with a much larger scope for numbers than the original close combat.
Maybe a little like a highly polished theatre of war.

I find it amusing that you guys are so set in your ways you have no vision of what the original wargames trying to do. Simulate a war as close as possible to the real thing. That means the whole deal including simulating formations and what an legion might be able to do with one. I guess I am a mix ...
