1943 DLC

Maybe I'm missing something, but why is the campaign tree for the 1943 DLC skipping Kharkov 1943? I don't see it anywhere, and I went from winter warfare to Kursk.

Thanks, Thomas. That helps a lot. I'll check it out.

Very glad to hear that there will be more DLC's after 1943.

Re: Axis Operations - 1943 is coming soon

I think it's been posted somewhere in this thread that there will be no DLC after 1943, as things started to go downhill in 1944. Also, it would be difficult to accurately depict German troops, as there became an increasing number of divisions made up of a hodgepodge of troops.

Panzer Corps: Operation Sea Lion installation issue

I purchased Afrika Korps as a stand alone game, and then purchased Sea Lion. I did upgrade to 1.24. The first time I tried to add Sea lion to my HD after downloading it, I got some error messages about files it couldn't add. I eventually deleted the files from the DLC folder and tried loading it to ...

Re: Leningrad

I will try, but I'm not sure it is possible. It would have to be a video, if that were possible, to show it. Describing it might be easier. In all of the other scenarios, after they start, it briefly shows you what units are available for purchase when the screen showing them first scrolls up, then ...

Leningrad

I believe there is a bug in the Leningrad scenario. You cannot access the 9,370 prestige points available. The lower screen scrolls up to show what units are available at the beginning of the scenario, but when you click on the points, nothing happens. Shouldn't you have access to them right away?

Re: Feedback so far

The '45 Beta is very interesting to play, and it is bug free so far for me, but I have a couple of design complaints/criticisms on it. My biggest question is: where in the heck is the American AF in the siege of Bastogne and all previous Bulge scenarios?! Also, weather is too good early on. Can fly ...

I've been through all of the scenarios for Campaign '41, ending with the Demyansk scenario. No problems that I can see. I like the message at the end saying that this campaign will link with Campaign '42 (when it's developed), and will allow you to carry foward all units (with all experience acquire...

I finally got the demo downloaded and installed by typing in the password rather than doing a copy and paste. I've been through all of the scenarios in the tutorial w/o a problem - no bugs, no lockups, etc. I have completed the Polish scenario and am now moving onto Norway. Still no problems.

I've tried downloading the demo many times. The first couple of times it downloaded completely, but I got an error message when I tried to extract it with the WinRAR program. Now I get about 28% of it and it stops. I believe I'm getting the whole file. It's 393 MB.

My last post said I was in the Crete (airborne) scenario and not having too much trouble with any scenarios getting decisive victories at the colonel level. I guess I spoke too soon/jinxed myself. I came within 1 hex of a decisive victory, with a 1 strength unit holding the furthermost eastern victo...

First of all, I want to say that I love the '41 Campaign beta! It is so much more playable and realistic than the '39 and '40 campaigns, I think. I am only up to the Crete airborne scenario, but so far, playing on the colonel level, I have achieved all decisive victories. It took me until the next t...

Kerensky- No problem. Starting over gives me a chance to hopefully play better. First impressions on starting over on Campaign '39, beta 3, colonel level. First scenario went okay, but only got a marginal victory. 2nd scenario is Danzig Corridor, and air forces seem to be out of whack. Ground units ...

Kerensky- I've looked briefly, through the scenario selection, at one of the Warsaw maps. I see what you mean about all of the hexes for that city, and that is just Warsaw North or South. Looks very good, but I have not played the scenario yet. I downloaded beta 3 last night and am starting both cam...

Kerensky- Thanks for the advice. Pioneers in half-tracks are expensive, but Germany's best infantry, and they can shoot while still loaded. Can't do that in soft trucks. I love tanks the best, but need that good infantry to dislodge well entrenched infantry units in city hexes. Can't do that as well...

I have a pretty good balance of troops - 6 infantry, I believe (all Pioneers in half tracks), 4 tanks (all 3 F's), 2 AT, 2 AA, 2 artillery, 2 recon, 2 fighters and 2 tac bombers. Big difference in '40 campaign between lieutenant and sergeant levels. Lieutenant is a little too tough, IMHO, especially...

I'm not having much trouble with the '39 Campaign at the Colonel level, but the '40 Campaign seems much more difficult, even at the lieutenant level. I cannot seem to hold the minimum 3 victory hexes for the 2nd, Albert Canal, scenario. I will now try at the sergeant level. There are too many Dutch ...

I am not having too much difficulty with the '39 Campaign, but I am with the '40 at Colonel difficulty. I've had to regress to the lieutenant level to try to get through it. It seems like there are too many allied troops and not enough Germans. You can whack them pretty easily, but more and more kee...
