It should be so but somehow 'Theos' are very efficient when you meet them too efficient ... On serious note they are swordsmen and vets are swordsmen too,right ? I meant to ask about all sworsmen in game . :oops: Tribal can't pay too much ,due their handicaps, so vets are not that expansive to upkee...

Who is the strongest swordsmen unit ?
Veterans look like unbeatable en masse .I play on Tribal -but got nasty defeat by Illyrian/Pirates they had 8 veterans I had 3 Veterans and 7 Astinomie and 6 proto-hoplites
I also play on Romans and don't know whom to prefer hastati or therapractoi ?
