Thanks, I won on the fifth attempt by going for their weaker units and basically scattering my forces all over the map so the enemy ranks became disorganised and I was able to isolate units and repeatedly charge until I got a cohesion drop.

How are you supposed to win the first battle as the french in the HYW campaign? You have to face a huge army of low country spearman but all you have is cavalry which just bounce off them with no effect? You can't flank them as your cavalry never sticks in combat unless they get a cohesion drop firs...

Yes, it should be fixed now. I still don't see it as a downloadable campaign for single player? It is definitely available on the FTP, I just downloaded it again myself. Sun direction mod

A simple mod that changes the lighting direction to face your army like it was in FOG2 Ancients.

Just back up your data/lighting folder and copy this over the top. I haven't had any issues in multiplayer.

There are armies such as the Hungarians that can successfully challenge the Mongols but it seems like it's always a costly victory. The main problem for me is that those Mongol/Tartar light horse are above average quality by default. They seem very resilient and are beyond just a skirmisher annoyance.

I find the white on gold text that shows percentage routed on the shield on the green bars difficult to read. Maybe black on gold or something higher contrast.

Welsh Spearmen why are they so good?

Welsh spearmen seem to own other heavy infantry despite being medium, heavy defensive spearmen seem to get rolled by them, is it because of the extra line in their ranks?

Yes thanks, it seems removing the - sign from the third number under DIRECTION in the [WORLDLIGHT] section of the txt files in the Lighting folder gets the lighting how I prefer.

How does the computer opponent handle the wagon when using or fighting against it? Does it prioritise attacking it? It looks extremely tough and I’m worried it will be too easy to exploit it’s benefits against a cpu army.
